DSIT CAT 6 καλώδιο δικτύου LSOH - S/FTP - 0,50 μέτρα - γκρι (DC-S61-005)

Short patch cables are the unsung heroes of tidy network installations, but cheap ones can introduce interference and clutter. This DSIT CAT 6 cable solves both: it's only half a meter long, so it's perfect for connecting devices in tight spaces like patch panels, wall outlets, or directly between adjacent equipment. The S/FTP shielding and LSOH jacket keep signals clean and safe, even in dense racks.

Who is it for

Network administrators, IT technicians, and home users who need a reliable, short Ethernet connection in server rooms, offices, or home networks. It's ideal for patching between a switch and a patch panel, connecting a router to a nearby modem, or any situation where a longer cable would create unnecessary loops.

Main features

• CAT 6 performance: supports Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-T) and bandwidth up to 250 MHz, ensuring fast and stable data transfer.
• S/FTP shielding: each pair is foiled (FTP) and the overall cable is braided (S), providing excellent protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and crosstalk.
• LSOH jacket: low smoke zero halogen material reduces toxic fumes and smoke in case of fire, making it safe for enclosed spaces and public buildings.
• Short 0.5 m length: minimizes cable clutter and signal loss, perfect for high-density patching.
• Grey color: blends seamlessly into most rack and office environments.
• RJ45 connectors: gold-plated contacts ensure reliable connections and corrosion resistance.

Tips

When using short patch cables, label both ends to simplify troubleshooting. For best performance, avoid bending the cable sharply near the connectors; maintain a minimum bend radius of about four times the cable diameter. This cable is also suitable for PoE applications up to the standard's limits, but always check your equipment's power requirements.
