Δορυφορική κεραία Televes S80EL-W

The Televes S80EL-W satellite antenna is a compact, white parabolic reflector designed for reception in the 10.7–12.75 GHz band. Constructed from aluminium, the antenna provides a specified gain of 38.5 dBi and an adjustable elevation angle from 0 to 90°, offering a balance of sensitivity and mechanical durability for domestic or small commercial installations. Its 730 mm width and 795 mm height allow placement on rooftop, wall or mast mounts where reliable satellite signal capture is required.

Advantages

The aluminium construction ensures corrosion resistance and a lightweight design for easier mounting and handling. The 38.5 dBi gain supports reliable signal reception even for transponders with lower power, while the wide elevation adjustment enables alignment to a broad range of orbital positions. The white finish reduces thermal absorption and fits unobtrusively with typical building exteriors. The antenna’s compact dimensions make it suitable where space is limited without compromising performance expected from a parabolic satellite antenna.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Residential satellite TV reception
• Small apartment or rooftop installations
• Secondary or backup reception points
• Low- to medium-gain reception requirements

Key specifications

• Frequency range: 10.7–12.75 GHz
• Gain: 38.5 dBi
• Elevation angle range: 0–90°
• Material: aluminium
• Colour: white
• Width: 730 mm
• Height: 795 mm

How to use

Mount the Televes S80EL-W on a suitable mast, pole or wall bracket using appropriate fasteners for the installation surface and local wind-load requirements. Point the dish toward the target satellite using the elevation range of 0–90° and fine-tune azimuth and skew according to the satellite coordinates for your location. Connect the feedhorn/LNB and run a coaxial cable to the receiver, ensuring proper weatherproofing of outdoor connectors. After initial alignment, verify signal strength and quality on the receiver and make small adjustments to maximize reception.

Recommendations

For stable long-term reception, use corrosion-resistant mounting hardware, apply sealant or self-amalgamating tape to exposed cable entries, and periodically inspect the dish and fastenings for debris or loosening. In areas with heavy snow or ice, consider a protective cover or more frequent maintenance to preserve optimal performance.
