DIGITUS Καλώδιο patch - CAT6a - S/FTP - Snagless - Cu - 15m - γκρι

The DIGITUS Network Cable CAT 6A S/FTP RJ-45, length 15 m, is a Category 6A patch cord designed for high-performance structured cabling. The cable features S/FTP shielding, copper conductors and a transparent yellow RJ-45 plug with metal shielding for quick identification of Cat6A (500 MHz). The sheath is LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) for improved fire behaviour and low smoke emissions. The product is PoE+ ready and meets ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173 Category 6A specifications.

Advantages

The cable is manufactured and tested to Category 6A standards with performance tested up to 500 MHz, including NEXT characteristics, ensuring compliance with ISO & EN channel specifications. Molded boots with kink protection, strain relief and latch protection increase connector durability. S/FTP shielding provides enhanced protection against electromagnetic interference, and the LSZH sheath reduces hazardous smoke in case of fire.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet networks (up to Cat6A)
• Server rooms and data centres
• PoE and PoE+ powered devices
• Office and professional network installations

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network device or patch panel and the other RJ-45 plug to the switch, router or endpoint. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Avoid sharp bends and maintain minimum bend radius during installation; use the molded boot and strain relief to reduce pull on the cable. For permanent installations, route the cable following local building and safety rules.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat6A S/FTP patch cord in shielded or mixed cabling environments, keep cable length within specified limits, and avoid electrical noise sources. When deploying PoE devices, verify switch and device PoE specifications to ensure compatibility.
