DIGITUS Καλώδιο patch - CAT6 - S/FTP - προστασία γλωττίδας - Cu - 3m - γκρι

The DIGITUS Category 6 S/FTP patch cord (3 m) delivers future-oriented standards and high-end quality for network installations. The cable has an LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) sheath for improved fire behaviour and low smoke emissions, S/FTP shielding for reduced electromagnetic interference, and copper conductors. The transparent red colored RJ-45 plug provides easy identification of Category 6 (250 MHz) cabling. The cable is PoE+ ready and fitted with a molded boot that offers kink protection, strain relief and latch protection to prevent the latching lever from breaking.

Advantages

Manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173 Category 6 specifications, this DIGITUS patch cord guarantees channel compliance and performance up to 250 MHz, including near end crosstalk (NEXT). The S/FTP shielding and copper conductor ensure reliable data transmission, while the LSZH sheath reduces hazardous emissions in case of fire. The molded boot with strain relief and latch protection increases connector durability during installation and use.

Suitable for

• Ethernet networking in offices and homes
• Patch panels and switches requiring Cat6 cabling
• Power over Ethernet (PoE/PoE+) powered devices
• Environments where low-smoke, zero-halogen cabling is required

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to a network device (switch, router or patch panel) and the other RJ-45 plug to the target device such as a PC or access point. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension to maintain performance and to protect the molded boot and internal shielding.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the 3 m DIGITUS Cat6 S/FTP patch cord within structured cabling channels that meet ISO/EN specifications, avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines, and maintain bending radii recommended for Cat6 cables. In installations requiring the lowest smoke and halogen emissions choose LSZH-sheathed cabling as used in this product.
