Digitus καλώδιο δικτύου CAT 6 S/FTP RJ-45 10m μπλε

The DIGITUS Network Cable CAT 6 S/FTP RJ-45, 10 m, blue provides future-oriented standards and high-end quality for structured cabling. Designed and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173 Category 6 specifications, this patch cord supports performance up to 250 MHz and is PoE+ ready. The cable uses copper conductors and S/FTP shielding to reduce interference; each end is fitted with a molded boot that includes kink protection, strain relief and a latch protector. The transparent red-coloured plug with metal shielding enables easy identification of Category 6 connectors while the LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) sheath improves fire behaviour and limits smoke emissions.

Advantages

Compliant with ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173 Category 6 standards, the cable delivers verified performance characteristics including NEXT up to 250 MHz. LSZH outer sheath offers improved safety in case of fire by producing low smoke and no halogen gases. S/FTP construction and copper conductors ensure reduced electromagnetic interference and stable data transmission. Molded boots with kink protection, strain relief and latch protectors increase connector durability and handling reliability. The transparent red plug with metal shielding allows quick visual identification of Category 6 cabling.

Suitable for

• Structured network installations in offices and data rooms
• Connections requiring PoE+ power delivery
• Applications demanding low electromagnetic interference (S/FTP)
• Environments where low smoke and halogen-free materials are required

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to your switch, patch panel or router and the other to the target device (PC, IP phone, access point, etc.). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks and route the cable to avoid tight bends; the molded boot provides kink protection but maintain recommended bend radii for optimal performance. For installations in racks or conduits follow standard cabling practices and verify link performance with appropriate testing tools to confirm Category 6 channel compliance.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid running this S/FTP cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines and use dedicated cable management. Test links after installation with a Category 6 tester to confirm performance up to 250 MHz and verify PoE+ delivery if powering devices over Ethernet.
