DIGITUS Διαχωριστής 4K HDMI. 1x 2 4K/30Hz. μαύρο

The Digitus HDMI Splitter 1x2 (DS-45340) duplicates a single HDMI input to two HDMI outputs simultaneously, supporting up to 3840 x 2160 (4K2K) at 30 Hz. It implements HDMI 1.4b and HDCP 1.4 standards and offers a compact metal housing (60 x 70 x 20 mm) for flexible installation. The device provides EDID handling with two selectable modes to ensure compatibility between source and connected displays.

Advantages

The splitter delivers two identical HDMI outputs from one source at a maximum resolution of 4K/30Hz while maintaining HDCP and HDMI 1.4b compliance. A two-mode EDID switch (Copy and Auto) helps resolve compatibility issues by copying the EDID of output 1 or automatically comparing both outputs and generating a merged EDID for the source. Its small metal enclosure and lightweight design simplify placement and installation in AV setups.

Suitable for

• Duplicating a single HDMI source to two TVs or monitors
• Retail displays and information kiosks
• Classroom or meeting-room setups requiring the same image on two screens
• Home entertainment where a single player or set-top box feeds two displays

How to use

Connect the HDMI source (e.g., Blu-ray player, PC, set-top box) to the splitter's HDMI input. Attach two HDMI cables from the splitter's outputs to the displays. Apply power to the splitter using the supplied 5 V/1 A adapter. Use the EDID switch to select Copy mode if you want the splitter to present the EDID of HDMI output 1 to the source, or Auto mode to let the splitter compare both outputs and generate a compatible EDID automatically. Turn on the source and displays; the same image should appear on both screens.

Recommendations

For stable 4K/30Hz performance, use high-quality HDMI cables rated for 4K video and keep cable lengths within recommended ranges. If one display has limited resolution or unsupported features, try the Auto EDID mode to allow the splitter to create a compatible EDID for the source.
