Διαχωριστής δικτύου PLANET POE-173S

The PLANET POE-173S Gigabit 802.3bt Power over Ethernet splitter extracts Ethernet data and PoE power from an 802.3bt Type-4 PoE++ PSE over a UTP cable and provides a selectable DC output of 12V, 19V or 24V via a front-panel DIP switch. It supports passive 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet and cable runs up to 100 meters, delivering up to 60 W to non‑PoE devices. The unit is housed in a compact metal case with ventilation that does not require a fan, and includes LED indicators for PoE status.

Advantages

The POE-173S allows deployment of non‑PoE devices in locations without AC outlets by converting 802.3bt PoE++ over all four pairs of Cat5e/Cat6 cable into separate DC power and data outputs. Its selectable 12V/19V/24V output increases compatibility with different devices while maintaining Gigabit data rates. The metal, ventilated enclosure provides compact, quiet operation and reliable performance without additional cooling.

Suitable for

• PTZ speed dome cameras
• Thin clients
• All‑in‑One (AIO) touch PCs
• Remote digital signage displays
• Other non‑PoE network devices that require up to 60 W

How to use

Connect the POE-173S RJ-45 input to an 802.3bt Type-4 PoE++ switch or injector using Cat5e/Cat6 cable. Select the required DC output voltage (12 V, 19 V, or 24 V) with the front-panel DIP switch according to the powered device's specification. Use the provided LAN cable or a separate Ethernet cable to connect the splitter’s data output to the device’s network port, and connect the DC power output to the device’s power input. Ensure the total power draw does not exceed 60 W and keep cable runs within 100 meters.

Recommendations

Use only with IEEE 802.3bt Type-4 PoE++ PSE equipment and compatible Cat5e/Cat6 cabling. Verify the target device’s required DC input voltage before changing the DIP switch to prevent damage. Maintain maximum cable length of 100 m and confirm the PSE can supply sufficient power for the connected device.
