DeLOCK Καλώδιο RJ45 Cat.6A U/FTP με μεταλλικό μανδύα 5 m

The DeLOCK RJ45 Cable Cat.6A U/FTP with metal jacket 5 m is a 5 metre network cable designed for high-speed data transmission between networking devices. It provides U/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and comes with a durable metal jacket that protects the cable while maintaining flexibility.

Advantages

The U/FTP shielding minimises crosstalk and external interference, supporting stable high-speed connections. The metal jacket offers robust mechanical protection against external influences and damage without significantly reducing cable flexibility. Standard RJ-45 connectors at both ends ensure compatibility with NICs, switches and patch panels.

Suitable for

• Connecting a network interface card (NIC) to a switch
• Patch panel to switch cabling in server rooms or wiring closets
• Workstation or desktop network connections requiring Cat6A performance

Key specifications

• Cable type: Cat.6A U/FTP
• Length: 5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Shielding: U/FTP (foil around each pair and overall drain)
• Outer jacket: metal (silver colour)

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding ports of the devices to be connected until they click into place. Ensure both devices are powered off or follow hot-plugging guidelines from the device manufacturers if connecting live. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive strain; secure with cable management accessories if needed.

Recommendations

Use the cable in indoor installations and avoid prolonged exposure to corrosive environments. For optimal performance maintain bend radius recommended for Cat6A cables and avoid compressing the metal jacket under heavy objects.
