DELOCK Καλώδιο PCIe 4.0 slim SAS SFF-8654 4i 0,5 m

DELOCK PCIe 4.0 Slim SAS SFF-8654 4i cable 0.5 m provides a compact, shielded connection for storage and server systems that use SFF-8654 Slim SAS interfaces. The cable is designed to carry PCIe 4.0 signaling between compatible host adapters, backplanes or expanders while keeping cable routing tidy in dense chassis and rackmount environments. At 0.5 m length the cable balances reach and minimal signal degradation for short internal connections.

Advantages

The cable supports PCIe 4.0 signaling and is optimized for high-speed data transfer with reduced interference through shielding and controlled-impedance design. Its slim SFF-8654 4i form factor allows closer component placement and easier routing in tight server bays. A fixed 0.5 m length reduces excess cable slack and helps maintain airflow and chassis organization.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Connecting PCIe 4.0-capable host adapters to SFF-8654 Slim SAS backplanes or expanders
• Short internal connections in rackmount servers and storage chassis
• Upgrading or replacing factory cables in dense server assemblies
• Situations that require compact cable routing and improved airflow

Key specifications

• Interface: SFF-8654 Slim SAS 4i connectors
• Supported signaling: PCIe 4.0 compatible high-speed lanes
• Length: 0.5 m
• Construction: slim, shielded cable optimized for controlled impedance
• Intended use: internal server and storage interconnects

How to use

Identify the SFF-8654 Slim SAS 4i ports on the host adapter and the backplane or expander. Align the keyed connector ends with the device ports and insert firmly until seated. Route the cable along the chassis cable channels to avoid sharp bends and to maintain clearance for fans and airflow. When removing, press any connector latch if present and pull straight to avoid stressing the connector or PCB. Ensure both devices are powered down or follow hot-swap guidelines of the system before connecting or disconnecting.

Recommendations

For reliable PCIe 4.0 performance, keep the cable length appropriate for internal routing and avoid excessive bending near the connectors. Use the cable within server chassis environments and follow equipment manufacturer guidance for hot-swap operations and electrostatic discharge precautions.
