They allow both data transfer and charging, fit standard USB-C ports and have a small, durable black housing. Supplied as a two-pack, they provide flexibility for multiple devices or as a spare.

How to use

Plug the adapter's USB-C end into the USB-C port of your host device. Connect the USB-A or Micro USB peripheral to the adapter using the appropriate cable. The host device should recognise standard storage devices and input peripherals automatically; for some devices you may need to enable OTG support in system settings. Use carefully when connecting power-hungry drives — some external HDDs may require an externally powered hub.

Recommendations

For best results, connect high-speed storage devices using USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A cables and ensure your host device supports OTG and the advertised transfer speeds. Avoid forcing connectors and store the adapters in a dry place when not in use.
