Bosch X440 Best for Wood and Paint 10 τεμ. 2608606083

The Bosch X440 Best for Wood and Paint sanding belt is designed to remove material quickly and consistently when working on old paint, varnish or wooden surfaces. It uses a semi-friable aluminium oxide abrasive grain on a robust x-cloth backing with a high-quality belt joint, and the grit is bonded with fully synthetic resin to withstand heavy-duty sanding. The electrostatic open-coated surface promotes consistent dust removal for continuous sanding. This 10-piece pack (MPN 2608606083, EAN 3165140164191) is suitable for belt sanders and intended for smoothing feather edges, flush sanding rebates and edges, and general sanding of wooden and coated surfaces.

Advantages

The semi-friable aluminium oxide grain provides high-performance material removal while the x-cloth backing and reinforced belt joint deliver strength and durability for extensive work. The electrostatic open-coated grit helps keep the sanding surface clearer of dust for more consistent cutting and longer belt life. Fully synthetic resin bonding improves wear resistance during heavy-duty applications.

How to use

Mount the sanding belt on a compatible belt sander following the machine manufacturer's instructions and ensure correct tracking and tension. Begin sanding with moderate pressure and move the sander evenly across the workpiece to avoid gouging. For painted or varnished surfaces, work progressively from coarser to finer grits as needed to achieve the desired smoothness. Replace belts when cutting performance or surface finish degrades.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (dust mask, eye protection and hearing protection) and a dust extraction system when possible. Test on a scrap area to select the correct grit progression for the material and task.
