ROLINE InfiniBand καλώδιο οπτικών ινών 7m 2x LC OS2 κίτρινο

The ROLINE InfiniBand Fibre Optic Cable 7m with 2x LC connectors and OS2 single-mode fibre is designed for reliable high-speed data transmission. With a 9 µm core diameter and a bright yellow jacket, this 7-metre cable supports full duplex communication over InfiniBand networks and is suitable for interconnects in data centers, high-performance computing clusters and professional networking environments.

Advantages

This single-mode OS2 fibre cable provides low attenuation and stable signal integrity over long distances, which helps maintain high throughput and low latency in demanding applications. The LC duplex connectors offer compact, secure connections that are widely compatible with InfiniBand transceivers and networking equipment. The bright yellow outer jacket ensures easy identification of single-mode lines in cable management systems.

Suitable for

• InfiniBand connections between servers and switches in data centers
• High-performance computing (HPC) cluster interconnects
• Long-reach optical links requiring single-mode OS2 fibre
• Professional network installations where LC duplex connectors are required

Key specifications

• Length: 7 m
• Connector type: LC duplex (2x LC)
• Fibre type: Single-mode OS2
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Communication: Full duplex
• Jacket colour: Yellow

How to use

Inspect both ends of the cable and the device ports for cleanliness before installation. Align the LC connectors with the corresponding ports and insert gently until a secure latch click is felt. Route the cable according to your rack or cable-management plan to avoid excessive bending; maintain the manufacturer’s recommended minimum bend radius for single-mode fibre to prevent signal degradation. For removal, depress the LC latch and pull straight out to avoid damaging the connector or port.

Recommendations

Use appropriate fibre cleaning tools or wipes before connecting to remove dust or contaminants. Avoid tight bends, crushing, or stepping on the cable and label both ends for easy identification. For installations in structured cabling, follow industry standards for fibre handling and maintain service loops where necessary to allow for future moves or re-termination.
