BlueOptics X66205-5-BO καλώδιο InfiniBand οπτικής ίνας 5 m MPO 4x LC

The BlueOptics X66205-5-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 5 m multimode OM4 patch cable with an MPO connector on one end and four LC duplex connectors on the other. Designed for full-duplex InfiniBand and high-speed data links, it features a 125 µm core diameter and LSZH sheathing to reduce smoke and eliminate halogen release in the event of fire. This BlueOptics cable is compatible with NetApp-style X66205-5 assemblies and is intended for reliable interconnection of transceivers, patch panels and high-density network equipment.

Advantages

The cable uses laser-optimized OM4 multimode fiber to support short-range, high-bandwidth links with low attenuation and high return loss. Connectors use zirconia ceramic ferrules for reliable mating performance and long service life. The LSZH jacket provides improved safety in enclosed spaces. Each cable is tested with interferometry and OTDR and supplied with measured input loss and return loss values, ensuring consistent optical performance.

How to use

Ensure compatible MPO and LC ports on the equipment or patch panels before connecting. Align the MPO connector with the multi-fiber receptacle and insert until the latch engages, then connect each LC duplex to the corresponding LC ports, observing transmit/receive orientation for full-duplex operation. Route the cable without sharp bends and secure it to cable management to avoid strain on connectors. If cleaning is required, use proper fiber connector cleaning tools and inspect endfaces before insertion.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid bending the cable beyond the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius, maintain clean connector endfaces, and verify link loss after installation using appropriate optical test equipment. Use LSZH-jacketed cables like this in enclosed or public indoor spaces where low smoke and halogen-free properties are required.
