How to use

Install the transceiver into an empty SFP+ slot of a compatible switch, router or media converter until it clicks into place. Connect the appropriate single-mode or multi-mode fiber patch cable to the module's optical interface, ensuring correct connector type and polarity. After physical installation, verify link status and configure the network device as needed for a 10 Gbit/s link. Handle the optical connector with care and keep protective caps on the transceiver when not in use to avoid contamination.

Recommendations

Store and operate the module within the equipment manufacturer’s specified temperature and humidity ranges. Use compatible fiber types and connector standards to ensure optimal performance, and verify transceiver compatibility with your network equipment vendor documentation before deployment.
