Καλώδιο InfiniBand CBO MFA2P10-A007-BO 7 m SFP28 χρώματος aqua

Passive InfiniBand cable CBO MFA2P10-A007-BO is a factory-assembled 7 m direct attach cable with SFP28 connectors and an aqua-colored jacket. It provides a physical, ready-made link for high-speed InfiniBand networks that accept SFP28 form-factor connections. The cable is intended for short to medium reach rack-to-rack or server-to-switch connections where a 7 meter passive direct attach solution is appropriate.

Advantages

The cable delivers a plug-and-play connection without the need for separate transceivers, simplifying installation and reducing component count. Its SFP28-compatible ends support high data rates typical of InfiniBand links while the aqua jacket makes cable routing and identification easier in dense cabling environments. A passive design reduces power consumption compared with active optical assemblies and offers predictable signal characteristics over the specified length.

How to use

Ensure both endpoints have SFP28-compatible ports and that the host devices support passive direct attach cables. Align and insert the SFP28 connectors into the respective ports until the latch clicks, taking care to avoid excessive bending of the cable near the connectors. Route the aqua-jacketed cable along existing cable management pathways to maintain airflow and access. If removal is required, depress the connector latch and pull gently to extract.

Recommendations

Use the cable within the specified 7 m length without extending or splicing. Avoid tight bends and tension; maintain bend radius recommended by the equipment vendor. For installations in high-interference or longer-distance scenarios, consider evaluating active optical or transceiver-based alternatives. Regularly inspect connectors for dust and clean with appropriate tools before insertion.
