Καλώδιο InfiniBand CBO AFBR-2CAR05Z-BO 5 m SFP+ πορτοκαλί

CBO InfiniBand cable AFBR-2CAR05Z-BO is a 5 m SFP+ fiber patch cable in orange designed for short-range, high-speed network links. It provides a direct optical connection between SFP+ ports for low-latency, high-throughput environments such as data centers, server cabinets and storage systems. The cable supports standard SFP+ interfaces and is intended where reliable, consistent signal integrity and color-coded identification are required.

Advantages

This InfiniBand SFP+ cable offers predictable performance for 10 Gb and compatible high-speed links, maintaining low latency and stable throughput. The orange jacket supplies easy visual identification in densely cabled racks. The cable construction is optimized for short-reach optical connections, offering flexibility for rack-to-rack or equipment-to-equipment routing while minimizing signal loss and crosstalk typical of copper alternatives.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting servers and switches with SFP+ ports in data centers
• Linking storage arrays and network appliances requiring low-latency optical links
• Patch cabling inside server racks and between adjacent racks
• Environments where color-coded cables simplify cable management and fault tracing

Key specifications

• Cable length: 5 m
• Connector type: SFP+ to SFP+ direct-attach fiber
• Purpose: Short-reach optical interconnect for InfiniBand/SFP+ systems
• Jacket color: Orange for clear identification
• Designed for low-latency, high-throughput links in dense network environments

How to use

Plug each SFP+ connector firmly into the corresponding SFP+ port on the network devices until the module latches. Route the cable in the rack following standard cable management practices to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; maintain the minimum bend radius specified by the equipment manufacturer. Verify link status on connected devices and, if available, check optical diagnostics or management interfaces to confirm link speed and signal health.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, avoid tight bending and exposure to strong mechanical tension. Use the orange color to segregate InfiniBand/SFP+ links from other cable types and document cable endpoints for maintenance. Replace any cable showing visible damage or degraded link performance.
