BlueOptics καλώδιο InfiniBand/οπτικών ινών 15 m SFP28 χρώμα aqua

The BlueOptics InfiniBand/fibre optic cable 15 m SFP28 Aqua colour is a 15‑metre active optical cable (AOC) with SFP28 connectors designed for high‑speed short‑reach optical links. It supports 25G data rates using multimode fiber with integrated transmitter and receiver on each end, and it is compatible with common hardware platforms that accept SFP28 AOC modules. The aqua coloured sheath identifies the cable for easy routing in dense installations while the pre‑assembled AOC format eliminates the need for separate transceivers and patch cords.

Advantages

This 15 m SFP28 AOC provides low‑latency, EMI‑immune optical transmission and delivers consistent 25G performance over multimode fiber. The integrated active components are manufactured to MSA‑compliant specifications and include laser and IC components from established suppliers to ensure long service life and stable operation. The single‑piece pre‑terminated design reduces installation time and eliminates connector polishing or mating issues associated with patch cords.

Suitable for

• 25G Ethernet links between switches and servers in data centers
• High‑performance computing and InfiniBand short‑reach interconnects
• Storage area network (FCoE) connectivity and SAN uplinks
• Switch-to-switch connections within rack or row cabling
• Environments requiring EMI‑immune, high‑throughput links

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP28 to SFP28 (male/male)
• Cable length: 15 metres
• Data rate: up to 25 Gbps per lane (25GBASE‑SR4 class performance)
• Fiber type: multimode fiber (active optical cable)
• Form factor: Active Optical Cable (pre‑assembled AOC)
• Diagnostic: supports digital diagnostics monitoring (DDM/DOM) per SFF‑8472 when supported by host
• Sheath colour: aqua

How to use

Install the BlueOptics 15 m SFP28 AOC by inserting each SFP28 module into the corresponding SFP28 ports of the devices to be connected. Ensure that the host hardware supports SFP28 AOC modules and, if required, enables DDM/DOM to access diagnostic parameters. Avoid bending the cable beyond the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius and secure the cable along cable trays or management panels to prevent strain on the connectors. No additional transceivers or patching is required because the cable is pre‑terminated and tested for optical signalling.

Recommendations

Use this AOC in short‑reach multimode links inside racks and between adjacent racks; verify host compatibility for SFP28 AOC modules and DDM/DOM support before deployment. Store and route the cable to avoid excessive bending and mechanical stress to maintain signal integrity and prolong service life.
