Καλώδιο CBO AOC 10 m QSFP28 για Dell Networking G1TWV-BO

CBO AOC Cable 10 m QSFP28 for Dell Networking G1TWV-BO is an Active Optical Cable designed to provide high-speed optical connectivity between compatible QSFP28 ports. With a 10-meter length, this AOC supports reliable links for data center interconnects, switches and high-bandwidth server connections. The cable offers the advantages of optical transmission, including extended reach compared to copper, reduced cable weight and immunity to electromagnetic interference, making it suitable for dense networking environments.

Advantages

The Active Optical Cable combines integrated optical transceivers with a flexible cable assembly to deliver QSFP28 performance over longer distances than passive copper cables. It reduces rack congestion due to its lower weight and thinner profile, and provides stable throughput in environments with high electromagnetic noise. This solution minimizes the need for separate SFP or transceiver modules while maintaining native QSFP28 compatibility for supported networking equipment.

Suitable for

• Data center switch-to-switch connections
• High-bandwidth server uplinks
• Top-of-rack and end-of-row optical interconnects
• High-density networking installations where cable weight and EMI immunity matter

Key specifications

• Connector type: QSFP28 optical connector
• Cable type: Active Optical Cable (AOC)
• Length: 10 m
• Data rate: compatible with 100Gb/s QSFP28 links
• Form factor: compact, low-weight optical assembly
• Environment: suitable for data center indoor use

How to use

Install the AOC by aligning and inserting each QSFP28 connector into the corresponding QSFP28 port on the networking equipment until it seats securely according to the host device’s connector guidance. Ensure both endpoints are powered and configured for the intended link speed. No separate transceivers or fiber patching are required; the cable integrates the optical transceivers in the assembly. When disconnecting, follow the equipment manufacturer’s removal procedure to avoid damaging the connector or port.

Recommendations

Verify compatibility with the target networking equipment before installation and confirm the port settings support QSFP28 operation. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension, maintain minimum bend radius as recommended for optical assemblies, and avoid exposure to moisture or contaminants. For best performance, use in climate-controlled data center environments and perform link tests after installation.
