CBO SFP28-25G-LR-NA-BO SFP28 25 Gbit/s Singlemode-LC-πομποδέκτης, 10 km

The CBO SFP28-25G-LR-NA-BO is a 25 Gbit/s single‑mode fiber transceiver in the compact SFP28 form factor, designed for long‑range 25GbE links. It uses an LC duplex connector and supports a reach of up to 10,000 m over single‑mode fiber. The module fits standard SFP28 ports and provides a hot‑swappable solution for upgrading or extending network links in data centres, carrier networks and enterprise backbone connections.

Advantages

This SFP28 module provides 25 Gbit/s line rate performance in a space‑efficient SFP28 package, enabling high‑density installations. The single‑mode design and 10 km reach allow long‑distance connections without additional transceivers or active equipment. Hot‑swappable capability simplifies maintenance and replacements while ensuring minimal downtime. The LC duplex interface and compatibility with standard SFP28 ports ensure interoperability with a wide range of switches and routers.

Suitable for

• Long‑reach 25GbE uplinks between switches in data centres
• Inter‑site links across campus or metro networks up to 10 km
• Carrier and service provider transport layers
• Enterprise backbone and aggregation connections

Key specifications

• Data rate: 25 Gbit/s
• Fiber type: single‑mode
• Connector: LC duplex
• Maximum reach: up to 10,000 m (10 km) over single‑mode fiber
• Form factor: SFP28
• Hot‑swappable: yes
• Application: 25 Gigabit Ethernet (25GbE) links

How to use

Install the transceiver into a compatible SFP28 port on a switch, router or network interface card until it seats securely. Connect the LC duplex single‑mode fiber patch cable, observing correct transmit/receive orientation. Power up the equipment and verify link status through device management interfaces or indicator LEDs. For hot‑swap operations, remove and replace the module while the host device is powered on if supported by the equipment, following the host vendor’s removal and insertion guidelines to avoid link disruption.

Recommendations

Use single‑mode G.652 or comparable fiber for distances approaching 10 km, maintain proper fibre cleanliness at connectors, and consult switch or router vendor documentation for compatibility and supported optical transceiver listings. For reliable long‑distance performance, verify link budget and consider fibre attenuation, splice loss and connector loss when planning installations.
