CBO Κάρτα δικτύου χαλκού 1000-BASE-T-AC-BO, 1250 Mbit/s, RJ-45

CBO 1000-BASE-T-AC-BO is a copper network interface module designed for gigabit Ethernet connections via standard RJ-45 ports. It supports data transfer rates up to 1250 Mbit/s and is intended for integration into switches, routers and servers in data center and office environments. The module provides a wired connection option where low latency and stable throughput over copper cabling are required.

Advantages

The module delivers reliable wired connectivity with support for near-gigabit speeds over existing Category-rated copper cabling. Its RJ-45 interface ensures compatibility with common network devices and simplifies installation without specialized fiber equipment. The design prioritizes consistent throughput and interoperability with standard Ethernet hardware, making it suitable for mixed infrastructure deployments.

Suitable for

• Server uplinks and switch-to-switch connections in campus and enterprise networks
• Edge routers and access-layer ports in offices and small data centers
• Equipment upgrades where existing copper cabling is retained

Key specifications

• Interface type: RJ-45 copper connector
• Maximum data rate: 1250 Mbit/s
• Operational mode: 1000BASE-T compatible for gigabit Ethernet over copper
• Suitable media: Category-rated twisted-pair copper cabling (e.g., Cat5e/Cat6 depending on deployment)
• Form factor: hot-pluggable module for compatible network equipment

How to use

Install the module into a compatible network device slot following the equipment manufacturer’s instructions, ensuring the module is fully seated and the device is powered according to safe handling procedures. Connect an appropriate Category-rated RJ-45 patch cable between the module and the network endpoint. Verify link status and speed through the host device management interface and monitor for stable operation. If link training or auto-negotiation is available, allow the device to complete the process before initiating heavy traffic.

Recommendations

For best performance, use certified Cat5e or higher twisted-pair cabling and maintain cable runs within recommended length limits for copper Ethernet. Ensure proper grounding and avoid routing cables near sources of electromagnetic interference. When integrating into mixed media environments, verify auto-negotiation settings and firmware compatibility on switches, routers or servers to maintain stable gigabit links.
