BlueOptics CAB-OM3-LC-LC-2M-BO Aqua Καλώδιο οπτικής ίνας InfiniBand 2m OM3 LC

The BlueOptics CAB-OM3-LC-LC-2M-BO Aqua InfiniBand Fibre Optic Cable is a 2-metre multimode patch cable designed for high-speed optical connections. It uses OM3 laser-optimized multimode fibre with LC/UPC connectors on both ends and an aqua-coloured LSZH jacket. The cable is intended for InfiniBand and other high-bandwidth networking applications where low attenuation and reliable connector performance are required.

Advantages

This cable provides low insertion loss and high return loss through laser-optimized OM3 multimode fibre and quality LC connectors with zirconia ceramic ferrules. The LSZH sheathing reduces toxic gas and smoke emission in case of fire and is suitable for data centre and enclosed-space installations. Each cable is factory-tested with interferometry and OTDR and supplied with measured input loss and return loss values.

How to use

Route the 2 m cable between LC ports, avoiding tight bends and mechanical stress on the connectors. Ensure connectors are clean before mating by inspecting or using a fibre cleaner to remove dust and contamination. Insert LC connectors into compatible LC ports until the latch clicks, and secure cable routing within trays or cable management to prevent strain. Use the supplied test data to verify link budget and performance after installation.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, follow manufacturer-recommended bend radius limits, keep connectors capped when not in use, and perform end-face cleaning before each connection. Use this OM3 LC-LC cable for short to medium multimode runs in data centre and rack environments where InfiniBand or high-throughput optical links are required.
