BIRA HARTTE S12R Ηλεκτρικό Ανοιχτήρι, Σειρά S, 12V DC, Αμφίδρομο

Securing a doorway involves more than just a lock; it requires an actuator that releases cleanly when called upon. The BIRA HARTTE S12R electric strike answers that need with a 12V DC fail-safe mechanism that unlocks when power is interrupted, allowing seamless integration with intercoms, card readers, and panic bars. This strike from the S Series delivers a reassuring 300 kg holding force and is built for high-traffic environments, rated to 300,000 cycles.

Who is it for

Professional installers, security system integrators, and facility managers upgrading existing door hardware will appreciate the S12R's universal handing. It fits both left- and right-hinged doors, and its mortise design recesses into the door frame for a clean, low-profile finish. Whether used in a small office or a busy back entrance, it provides dependable access control.

Main features

• Fail-safe operation – unlocks on power loss, enhancing emergency exit safety

Tips

When installing, ensure the strike faceplate is flush with the door frame to avoid binding. Use a 12V DC power supply that is rated for the current draw, and consider a separate power source for the controller to maintain fail-safe behavior during power outages. For retrofit projects, verify the existing cutout dimensions against the faceplate size.
