Why choose it

The SD530 is built for peace of mind. Its photoelectric sensor is particularly effective at detecting smoldering fires, which are common in homes. The 5-year battery means you install it once and forget about maintenance. When the battery is nearing its end, the detector will emit a warning signal, giving you ample time to replace the entire unit. The hush button is a handy feature for silencing false alarms from cooking or steam, without having to remove the detector.

Ideal use cases

• Bedrooms and hallways in residential homes
• Apartments and rental properties
• Small offices and workshops
• Vacation homes and cabins
• Any room up to 40 m² requiring smoke detection

Good to know

The Alecto SD530 is CE certified and complies with the European standard EN 14604, ensuring it meets strict safety and performance requirements. Installation is straightforward: simply mount the base plate to the ceiling with the included screws and plugs, then twist the detector into place. The LED indicator shows the operational status, and the test button allows you to verify the alarm function regularly. Note that the battery is not replaceable; when the 5-year life ends, the entire detector should be replaced.
