ACT πορτοκαλί 0,5 m U/UTP CAT6 καλώδιο patch με βύσματα RJ45

The ACT Orange 0.5 meter U/UTP CAT6 patch cable with RJ45 connectors is a short network cable designed for reliable data transmission according to Cat6 standards. It features U/UTP CAT6 construction, AWG#24 conductors and RJ-45 plugs with 50 µ gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity. The cable sheathing is PVC and the bright orange color (RAL 2000) makes the cable easy to identify in patch panels and installations.

Advantages

This 0.5 m patch cable provides Cat6 bandwidth up to 250 MHz and uses quality AWG#24 conductors to support stable high-speed connections. Gold-plated contacts reduce oxidation and improve signal transfer at the connector interface. The compact length minimizes cable clutter and the orange PVC sheath helps with quick visual identification in multi-cable setups.

Suitable for

• Short connections between devices in home or office networks
• Patch panels and switch ports where a short jumper is needed
• Environments where cable identification is important (orange color)

Key specifications

• Cable type: U/UTP CAT6
• Bandwidth: 250 MHz
• Length: 0.5 m
• Conductors: AWG#24
• Connectors: RJ-45 — both ends
• Contacts: 50 µ gold plating
• Sheath material: PVC
• Colour: Orange (RAL 2000)

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network device (for example a switch, router or computer) and the other plug to the destination port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click. Use the 0.5 m length for short-distance patching inside racks, on desks or between nearby devices to reduce excess cable loops.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid tight bends and excessive stretching of the cable; maintain bend radii recommended for Cat6 cabling and keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources. Inspect connectors for damage before use and replace the cable if the sheath or contacts show wear.
