ACT Μωβ 3 μέτρα LSZH U/UTP CAT6 Datacenter Slimline Patchkabel με βύσματα RJ45

The ACT Purple 3 meter LSZH U/UTP CAT6 datacenter slimline patch cable with snagless RJ45 connectors is designed for data centre and network cabinet use where space and airflow are critical. Its slimline construction (approximately 3.8 mm diameter) reduces cable bulk compared with standard CAT6 patch cords, enabling denser routing and improved airflow in racks. The cable uses U/UTP CAT6 construction and features gold-plated contacts for reliable connectivity.

Advantages

The slimline diameter lowers the bending radius and reduces congestion inside server racks and network cabinets, helping maintain better airflow. Snagless RJ45 connectors protect the plug latch during installation. Gold-plated contacts support stable signal transfer. The LSZH jacket minimises smoke and hazardous fumes in case of fire, making the cable suitable for enclosed equipment rooms.

Suitable for

• Data centre horizontal and patching links
• High-density rack and cabinet installations
• General Ethernet connections between network equipment and patch panels

• Brand / MPN / EAN: ACT / DC9303 / 8716065510546

How to use

Route the cable between network devices, patch panels and switches, ensuring the connectors are fully inserted into RJ45 ports until the latch engages. Avoid sharp bends beyond the cable's minimum bending radius and secure cables to prevent strain on connectors. When installing multiple cables in bundles for PoE applications, follow the recommended maximum bundle size to control temperature rise.

Recommendations

ACT advises a maximum bundle size of 24 cables for PoE deployments to limit temperature increase. Note that using 28 AWG conductors (slimline cables) can increase attenuation, especially at higher frequencies; this slimline CAT6 cable is suitable for typical data centre patching but follow channel length and attenuation requirements from ISO/IEC and TIA standards when designing links.
