ACT κόκκινο 2 μέτρα LSZH U/UTP CAT6 Datacenter Slimline Patch καλώδιο με βύσματα RJ45

Patch Cable ACT Red 2 meter LSZH U/UTP CAT6 is a slimline CAT6 patch cord designed for high-speed data transmission in datacenter and networking environments. With a reduced diameter of 3.8 mm compared to standard 5.9 mm cables, this cable improves airflow in cabinets. It uses U/UTP construction, LSZH jacket material and snagless RJ45 connectors with gold plating for reliable connectivity. The slim 28 AWG conductors increase attenuation versus standard 24 AWG cords, so ACT recommends shorter permanent link lengths when using these cables.

Advantages

The slim 3.8 mm diameter reduces cable bulk and supports better rack airflow. LSZH outer jacket limits smoke and halogen emissions in confined spaces. Snagless RJ45 connectors with gold plating ensure stable signal contact and easier handling. The reduced bending radius improves routing in dense installations while maintaining CAT6 performance within recommended distances.

How to use

Terminate the cable into corresponding RJ45 ports on switches, patch panels or network devices, ensuring correct orientation and full insertion until the latch clicks. Route the slimline cable through racks and trays observing the reduced bending radius; avoid tight kinks near the connectors. For PoE deployments, follow device and switch manufacturer guidance and monitor connection temperatures when bundling cables.

Recommendations

Use these slimline CAT6 cables for short to medium horizontal links where space and airflow are priorities. Because 28 AWG conductors exhibit higher attenuation at higher frequencies, limit permanent link lengths compared with standard 24 AWG patchcords and restrict PoE bundle sizes (ACT advises a maximum of 24 cables in a bundle) to limit temperature rise in high-power applications.
