How to use

Connect one RJ45 connector to a network device (switch, router, computer or patch panel) and the other connector to the corresponding port on the remote device. Lay the cable avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference to maintain signal integrity. Use the yellow color to identify the link in a patch panel or cable tray. For best results, keep cable length within standards for horizontal cabling and avoid kinking the cable during installation.

Recommendations

Use the ACT U/UTP CAT5E IB5820 for standard 10/100 Mbps Ethernet links; for Gigabit Ethernet consider CAT5E installations with appropriate cabling practices and shorter consolidated link segments. Store and install the cable at temperatures and conditions recommended for PVC‑sheathed network cables to preserve insulation and performance.
