ABB BJ Busch-Ανιχνευτής παρουσίας 6811 EB-916 BasicLINE Mini 6m

For spaces where a standard motion detector feels bulky or visually intrusive, the Busch-Jaeger BasicLINE Mini presence detector insert disappears into the ceiling and responds to both movement and ambient light. It is a compact, flush-mounted PIR sensor that covers a full 6-metre diameter at the recommended 2.5 m mounting height, making it a discreet yet dependable trigger for lighting automation in corridors, offices, bathrooms or storage areas.

Highlights

• 360° passive infrared detection with a 6 m range diameter at 2.5 m mounting height
• Integrated light sensor for daylight-dependent switching via a compatible control unit
• Flush-mounted ceiling installation in a standard 68 mm flush box
• Alpine white thermoplastic housing with UV resistance for long-term colour stability
• Designed for use with Busch-Jaeger control units 6804 U, 6805 U or 6806 U

In daily use

The sensor insert works as the eyes of a larger Busch-Jaeger presence detection system. It connects to a control unit with a simple 3-wire link, drawing its power from that unit, so no separate supply is needed. Once installed, it continuously monitors the room; when movement is detected and the measured light level falls below the threshold set on the control unit, the connected lighting switches on. The 360° coverage means a single sensor in the centre of a small room can handle the entire space, while the flush design keeps the ceiling clean and unobtrusive.

Final note

The BasicLINE Mini presence detector is a building block, not a standalone switch. Pair it with a Busch-Jaeger control unit to create a complete, automated lighting solution that reacts to both presence and daylight.
