Wera Hex-Plus Καρυδάκι bit 8 mm, 1/2 inch υποδοχή, μήκος 60 mm 05003824001

Hex fasteners in tight or recessed locations often round out under torque, especially with standard hex keys. This Wera bit socket solves that with Hex-Plus geometry, which grips the flats of the screw head rather than the corners, preventing cam-out and damage. The built-in holding function keeps the screw securely on the bit for easy one-handed fastening.

Who is it for

Professional mechanics, maintenance technicians, and demanding DIYers who work with 8 mm hex socket screws and need reliable torque transfer without damaging fasteners. Ideal for use with 1/2" square drive ratchets, T-handles, or power tools in non-impact applications.

Main features

• Hex-Plus profile: increased contact surface, up to 20% higher torque capacity, and reduced risk of rounding screw heads.
• Holding function (HF): spring-loaded ball holds screws firmly, allowing one-handed operation and easy access in tight spaces.
• High-performance chrome vanadium steel, chrome-plated for corrosion resistance and durability.
• 1/2" square drive (12.5 mm) with ball retention groove for secure attachment to ratchets and extensions.
• 60 mm overall length for good reach in confined areas.
• Complies with DIN 3120 / ISO 1174 for drive dimensions.
