Καλώδιο InfiniBand/οπτικής ίνας LC Goobay 95754

The Goobay 95754 is an InfiniBand/fibre optic cable with LC-duplex connectors on both ends and protective dust covers. It has a 50 µm core diameter and a halogen-free, flame-retardant sheath. Each cable is supplied with a test protocol and is intended for use in offices, industrial environments and computer centres where reliable, high-speed optical connections are required.

Advantages

The cable provides LC-duplex connectivity for InfiniBand and multimode fibre applications, minimizing signal loss thanks to its 50 µm core. The halogen-free, flame-retardant jacket increases safety in confined spaces, and the included test protocol documents performance. Protective dust covers on both connectors help maintain connector cleanliness during installation and storage.

Suitable for

• Office network connections and structured cabling
• Data centres and server rooms
• High-performance computing and InfiniBand links
• Industrial network installations

• Cable sheath: Halogen-free, flame retardant
• Included: Test protocol
• Maximum transmission range (given multimode types): 100 Mbit/s — OM2/OM3/OM4: 500 m; 1 Gbit/s — OM2: 500 m; OM3/OM4: 1100 m; 10 Gbit/s — OM2: 82 m; OM3: 300 m; OM4: 550 m

How to use

Inspect connector dust covers and remove them immediately before connecting. Route the fibre cable without tight bends and avoid crushing or kinking; follow standard multimode fibre bend-radius guidelines. Insert each LC connector into the corresponding LC port until it clicks. Verify link status at both ends and consult the included test protocol to confirm measured performance. Store unused connectors with their dust covers in place.

Recommendations

Use appropriate fibre cleaning tools before mating connectors, maintain bend radii specified by equipment manufacturers, and handle the cable by the jacket rather than by the connectors. For distances and performance, choose the appropriate multimode grade (OM2/OM3/OM4) according to the maximum transmission ranges listed.
