βύσμα RJ45 ShiverPeaks Basic-S

The ShiverPeaks Basic-S RJ45 Connector combines a transparent housing with silver accents and gold-plated contacts to provide a balance of visibility and reliable signal transmission. Supplied in a pack of 100, these connectors are designed for terminating Ethernet cables in bulk installations and standard networking repairs. The transparent body allows visual inspection of conductor alignment while the gold-plated contacts reduce corrosion and maintain steady conductivity over time.

Advantages

These RJ45 connectors offer consistent electrical contact through gold-plated pins, improving long-term signal integrity. The clear housing simplifies cable preparation and visual verification during crimping. Designed for mass deployment, the pack quantity reduces procurement frequency for installers and system technicians. The connectors support standard RJ45 terminations and are constructed to withstand repeated handling during installation.

Suitable for

• Ethernet cable terminations for office and data center networks
• Structured cabling installation and maintenance
• Field repairs and on-site network troubleshooting
• Bulk purchasing for installers and telecommunications contractors

Key specifications

• Connector type: RJ45 modular plug suitable for eight-conductor twisted-pair cable
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity and corrosion resistance
• Housing: transparent with silver-colored detailing for visual inspection
• Pack quantity: 100 pieces per pack for bulk installation needs
• Compatibility: designed for standard Ethernet applications including Cat5e/Cat6 terminations (check cable specification for exact fit)

How to use

Prepare the Ethernet cable by stripping the outer jacket to expose the twisted pairs, untwist and align conductors to the correct wiring scheme, and trim to the recommended length for the connector. Insert the conductors fully into the RJ45 plug until they reach the front of the housing and the jacket is held by the strain relief. Use an appropriate crimping tool to press the contacts into the wires and secure the plug onto the cable. After crimping, visually inspect through the transparent housing to confirm correct conductor order and complete contact seating.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term performance, use a compatible crimp tool designed for RJ45 modular plugs, avoid excessive jacket stripping, and verify cable category and conductor alignment before crimping. When installing large volumes, perform occasional quality checks on finished terminations to ensure consistent contact depth and continuity.
