Βύσμα RJ45 Goobay CAT 5e STP θωρακισμένο με προστατευτικό λαστιχάκι

The Goobay RJ45 Plug is a shielded CAT 5e STP male connector designed for round network cable assemblies. It features a threaded insert for secure cable termination and a grey strain-relief boot that protects the cable entry and reduces mechanical stress. Each pack contains 10 connectors suitable for building or repairing wired Ethernet connections where reduced electromagnetic interference and reliable contacts are required.

Advantages

Shielded construction minimizes electromagnetic interference in STP installations. The integrated strain-relief boot increases durability and prevents cable damage at the termination point. Precise contacts and robust housing ensure stable signal transmission and long-term mechanical reliability. The threaded feature assists in proper cable alignment during assembly.

Suitable for

• CAT 5e STP network installations
• Repairing or assembling Ethernet patch cables for office or home networks
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference where shielding is beneficial
• Technicians and installers who require reliable RJ45 terminations

Key specifications

• Connector: RJ-45, male
• Category: CAT 5e STP (shielded twisted pair)
• Product colour: Grey
• Pack contents: 10 RJ45 plugs
• Fit: for round network cable, with threader and strain-relief boot
• Brand: GOOBAY, MPN: 68746, EAN: 4040849687464

How to use

Strip the outer jacket of the round CAT 5e STP cable to the required length, fold back the drain wire or braid as needed, and align the conductor order according to the chosen wiring standard. Insert the wires into the RJ45 plug until fully seated and ensure the shield makes contact with the connector body. Secure the plug using the appropriate crimping or termination tool, then slide the strain-relief boot into position to protect the cable entry.

Recommendations

Use a compatible RJ45 crimping tool and follow standard wiring schemes (T568A or T568B). Verify shield continuity when connecting to other shielded components, and test the finished cable with a network tester to confirm proper pairing and signal integrity.
