Βύσμα LWL ST Male EFB Elektronik 53102.32

The EFB Elektronik 53102.32 ST male fibre optic connector is a multimode connector engineered for secure, repeatable connections in networking and telecommunications environments. Designed with a bayonet-style ST coupling and a durable housing, this connector supports multimode fibre links where consistent signal integrity and low insertion loss are required. The connector is suitable for patch panels, transceivers, field terminations and other multimode fibre installations that demand mechanical stability and reliable optical performance.

Advantages

This ST male connector provides a stable bayonet lock to prevent accidental disconnection and is built from materials chosen for mechanical durability and dimensional accuracy. The connector minimizes optical loss through precise ferrule alignment and is compatible with standard multimode fibre cables, offering consistent performance across repeated mating cycles. Its straightforward design allows fast installation and simple handling during maintenance or reconfiguration.

Key specifications

• Connector type: ST (bayonet) male
• Fibre type: multimode
• Ferrule material and diameter: industry-standard ferrule for multimode alignment
• Durability: designed for repeated mating cycles and mechanical stability
• Typical applications: patch cords, pigtails, equipment terminations

How to use

Prepare the multimode fibre cable following standard stripping and cleaning procedures. Ensure the ferrule endface is clean and free of debris before mating. Align the ST male connector with the corresponding female receptacle, insert and twist the bayonet coupling until it locks in place. When disconnecting, depress the bayonet sleeve and rotate to release the coupling, pulling the connector straight out to avoid damaging the ferrule endface.

Recommendations

Use appropriate fibre cleaning tools before each connection and avoid touching the ferrule endface. Store connectors with protective dust caps when not connected. For optimal optical performance, verify insertion loss and return loss values with suitable test equipment after installation and follow standard multimode fibre handling practices to prevent bends tighter than manufacturer-recommended radius.
