Vivolink VLHDMIMAT4X4 διακόπτης matrix διακόπτης matrix AV 14 W

The Vivolink VLHDMIMAT4X4 is a professional 4x4 HDMI 2.0 AV matrix switcher for routing high-definition video and multichannel audio between multiple sources and displays. It supports up to 3840 x 2160 resolution and HDMI 2.0 / HDCP 2.3 standards. The unit features four HDMI inputs and four HDMI outputs, with the last two outputs capable of downscaling to accommodate different display resolutions. The metal 1U rack housing and compact dimensions make it suitable for integration in professional AV installations.

Advantages

The switcher offers integrated audio matrix functionality with four SPDIF and four analogue audio outputs for flexible audio de-embedding and routing. It supports advanced audio pass-through formats including LPCM 7.1, Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, DTS:X and DTS-HD Master Audio. Comprehensive EDID management combined with advanced HDCP handling improves source/display compatibility. Multiple control options — front panel, IR remote, RS232 and TCP/IP — enable straightforward integration with control systems.

Suitable for

• Conference rooms and boardrooms
• Control centres and monitoring rooms
• Lecture halls and educational facilities
• Small to mid-sized AV racks and installations requiring 4x4 HDMI routing

How to use

Connect up to four HDMI sources to the inputs and up to four displays to the outputs. Configure output scaling for the last two outputs if target displays require lower resolutions. Use the front panel or IR remote for basic routing; for integration with control systems use RS232 or TCP/IP. Adjust EDID settings as needed to ensure correct resolution and audio handoff from each source. When using external audio, route audio via the SPDIF or analogue outputs for de-embedded signals.

Recommendations

For reliable 4K performance, use high-quality HDMI cables rated for 18 Gbit/s and ensure connected displays and sources support HDMI 2.0 / HDCP 2.3. Place the unit in a well-ventilated rack space and verify EDID settings after adding new sources to avoid handshake issues.
