Vivolink PRORS2.0 Σειριακό καλώδιο Μαύρο 2 m D-Sub 9 ακίδων

The Vivolink PRORS2.0 is a 2-meter black serial cable with moulded D-Sub 9-pin connectors at both ends. Designed for reliable data transmission, the cable features a 9-pin pass-through functionality and a flexible jacket, and it weighs approximately 88 g. Its compact package dimensions make it convenient to store and transport while providing a stable wired connection between devices with D-Sub interfaces.

Advantages

The cable offers a moulded D-Sub 9-pin connector at each end for secure mating and reduced strain on connector points. Built for flexibility, it is suitable for installations where cable routing requires bending and movement. The 9-pin pass-through functionality ensures straightforward serial communication without adapters, and the lightweight construction simplifies handling and mounting.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, industrial equipment and peripherals using RS-232/serial D-Sub 9 interfaces
• Point-to-point serial communication between devices with 9-pin D-Sub ports
• Temporary connections in workshops, service desks and testing environments

How to use

Align each D-Sub 9-pin connector with the corresponding 9-pin port on the devices to be connected, then fasten the connector thumbscrews or screws to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and pinch points; allow slack near equipment to reduce strain when devices move. For serial communication, configure device COM port settings (baud rate, parity, data bits, stop bits) according to the connected devices' requirements.

Recommendations

Use the Vivolink PRORS2.0 for short- to medium-length serial connections in indoor environments. Avoid exposure to excessive moisture, direct sunlight or temperatures outside the operating range of connected equipment. Inspect connectors for damage before use and replace the cable if connector moulding or wiring appears compromised.
