Vivanco STD SDB-N Αυτοσυγκολλούμενη ταινία στεγανοποίησης, 5 m, Μαύρο (44020)

For electricians and maintenance technicians sealing outdoor cable joints and antenna connections, this self-amalgamating tape fuses into a solid rubber sleeve without adhesive. It withstands weather, UV, and ozone, making it suitable for waterproofing and insulating electrical connections up to 1 kV.

Key specifications

• Material: Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPR)
• Length: 5 m
• Width: 19 mm
• Thickness: 0.8 mm
• Colour: Black
• Dielectric strength: > 15 kV/mm
• Operating temperature: -40°C to +90°C
• Voltage rating: up to 1 kV
• Elongation at break: > 500%
• Tensile strength: > 1.5 MPa

Why choose it

Self-fusing, UV-resistant, and ozone-resistant with high elasticity. It provides electrical insulation, sealing, waterproofing, and corrosion protection. Low water absorption ensures long-term performance in damp environments.

Ideal use cases

• Insulating and sealing electrical splices
• Waterproofing outdoor cable connections
• Protecting against corrosion on metal joints
• Emergency repairs in harsh environments

Good to know

Self-amalgamating tape bonds only to itself, so stretch and wrap it tightly for a permanent, homogeneous seal. No adhesive residue is left behind.
