Βιομηχανικός διακόπτης TRENDnet TI-XPG50 — 5-Port Gigabit PoE+ EN50155

TRENDnet TI-XPG50 is a 5-port industrial Gigabit switch with PoE+ designed for rail and transportation applications that require standards-compliant, rugged network hardware. The switch provides five Gigabit Ethernet ports with Power over Ethernet (PoE+) support, enabling both data and power delivery to connected devices. EN50155 compliance and an industrial design make this model suitable for deployments in rolling stock, trackside cabinets, and other transportation environments where vibration, temperature variation and extended operation are critical factors.

Advantages

The TI-XPG50 combines full Gigabit throughput on all ports with PoE+ capability to power IP cameras, wireless access points, and other networked devices directly over Ethernet cabling. EN50155 compliance and an industrial-grade build offer resistance to vibration and thermal stress common in transportation systems. The compact 5-port layout simplifies installation in constrained cabinets while maintaining reliable switch performance and simplified cabling.

Suitable for

• Onboard network infrastructure for trains and trams
• Trackside surveillance and signalling cabinets
• Deployments powering IP cameras and PoE wireless access points
• Industrial network endpoints in transportation facilities

Key specifications

• 5 Gigabit Ethernet ports with auto-negotiation
• PoE+ support for powering compatible devices over Ethernet
• EN50155 compliance for railway and transportation requirements
• Industrial-grade housing tolerant to vibration and temperature changes
• Plug-and-play operation with unmanaged switching functionality

How to use

Install the TI-XPG50 in an appropriate enclosure or mounting location that meets environmental requirements for rail applications. Connect powered devices such as IP cameras or PoE wireless access points to the Gigabit Ethernet ports using standard Ethernet cables. Connect uplink to the network backbone via any available Gigabit port. Ensure power input meets the device requirements and observe polarity and grounding best practices. The switch operates as an unmanaged device and requires no software configuration for basic connectivity.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, verify that connected devices are PoE+ compatible when higher power is required, and plan cable runs within Ethernet distance limits. Use approved mounting and grounding practices in rolling stock or trackside installations and monitor ambient temperatures to stay within the device’s operating range.
