VIDOS DUO B5A Λειτουργική μονάδα για ενδοεπικοινωνία 2 συρμάτων

Gate automation and access control often require more than just audio and video—they need reliable relay outputs to trigger locks, gates, or auxiliary devices, and inputs to integrate external buttons or sensors. The VIDOS DUO B5A function module addresses this by adding two potential-free relay outputs and two configurable inputs to any VIDOS DUO 2-wire intercom installation. Whether you manage a residential complex, a commercial facility, or an industrial gate, this module provides the switching capability to extend your system beyond basic communication.

Key specifications

• Compatible with VIDOS DUO 2-wire bus systems
• Powered directly from the system bus (24V DC)
• 2 potential-free relay outputs (NO/NC), each rated up to 1A @ 24V DC or 0.5A @ 120V AC
• 2 inputs for external buttons, exit switches, or sensors
• DIN rail or surface mount installation
• ABS plastic enclosure, IP20 rated for indoor use
• Operating temperature range: -10°C to +50°C
• LED indicators for status and operation
• Compact design with 2-wire bus connection

Why choose it

The B5A module is the simplest way to add switching and sensing capabilities to your VIDOS DUO system without complex wiring or additional power supplies. Its potential-free relay contacts allow you to control a wide range of devices, from electric strikes and magnetic locks to gate motors and lighting. The two inputs can be used for exit buttons, door contacts, or other dry-contact sensors, enabling custom automation scenarios. Installation is straightforward thanks to DIN rail compatibility or surface mounting, and the LED indicators provide immediate visual feedback for troubleshooting.

Ideal use cases

• Activating electric door strikes or magnetic locks in apartment buildings
• Controlling automatic gates or barriers in residential or commercial properties
• Integrating exit buttons or request-to-exit sensors
• Triggering auxiliary devices like lights, sirens, or CCTV recorders upon call or door release
• Expanding the I/O capacity of existing VIDOS DUO indoor stations or monitors

Good to know

The module is designed for indoor use only (IP20) and should be mounted in a protected environment such as an electrical cabinet or utility room. It derives all necessary power from the 2-wire bus, so no separate power supply is needed. For larger installations, multiple B5A modules can be distributed along the bus to provide local relay and input points. Always ensure that the total relay load does not exceed the specified ratings, and use appropriate suppression for inductive loads to prolong relay life.
