Videowall HDMI Transmitter LEVELONE HVE-6701R PoE – HDMI over IP, μονοκάναλο

LEVELONE HVE-6701R PoE is an HDMI-over-IP single-channel video wall transmitter that sends one HDMI source over Ethernet to compatible receivers or video wall endpoints. Designed for centralized media distribution, the unit supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) to simplify installation and allows remote placement of the source device while maintaining a stable digital video signal for signage, control rooms, conference environments and retail displays.

Advantages

The HVE-6701R minimizes cabling by using standard network infrastructure to carry HDMI signals and PoE for power, reducing the need for separate power outlets at the transmitter location. It delivers uncompressed or low-latency video transport suitable for synchronized displays, supports flexible system layouts with remote placement of the source, and integrates with existing IP-based video wall solutions to enable centralized management of content distribution.

Suitable for

• Digital signage networks in shopping centers, airports and malls
• Control rooms and monitoring centers requiring centralized video feeds
• Conference rooms and meeting spaces with remote source locations
• Retail displays and point-of-sale video systems
• Multi-screen video wall installations that use HDMI-over-IP distribution

Key specifications

• Video input: single HDMI source compatible with standard HDMI video formats
• Network interface: Gigabit Ethernet for HDMI-over-IP distribution
• Power: supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) to power the transmitter via network cabling
• Latency: designed for low-latency video transport suitable for synchronized displays
• Mounting and placement: compact form factor for rack or shelf installation and remote source placement

How to use

Connect the HDMI source (such as a PC, media player or camera) to the transmitter's HDMI input, then link the transmitter to the IP network via a Gigabit Ethernet connection. If PoE is available from the network switch, the transmitter can receive power over the same Ethernet cable; otherwise supply power according to the manufacturer's recommendations. On the receiving side, configure compatible HDMI-over-IP receivers or the video wall controller to accept the stream from the transmitter. Use the video wall system's management tools to map the single-channel input across screens, adjust display timing and synchronize content as required.

Recommendations

For best results, use Gigabit PoE-capable network switches and quality HDMI cables. Place the transmitter close to the HDMI source and ensure the network has sufficient bandwidth and low latency to support the chosen video resolution and refresh rate. When deploying multiple units, coordinate IP addressing and video-wall controller settings to maintain synchronization and avoid network congestion.
