Βίδα Fischer 670471 260 mm 50 τεμ.

Fischer 670471 screw is a metal wood screw designed for reliable fastening in timber applications. The screw measures 260 mm in total length with a 6 mm thread diameter and a 70 mm threaded section, providing deep penetration and strong hold in solid wood and structural wooden elements. Supplied in a pack of 50, these screws are intended for tasks that require long screws for load-bearing connections or secure joinery.

Advantages

The long 260 mm length combined with a 6 mm thread diameter ensures secure connections in thick wooden members while the 70 mm threaded section concentrates clamping force where it is most effective. Made of metal suitable for woodworking, these screws deliver consistent performance for repeated use. The pack of 50 offers a practical quantity for larger projects or multiple small jobs without frequent replenishment.

Suitable for

• Joining thick timber elements and beams
• Structural wooden frames and outdoor timber constructions (when appropriate corrosion protection is applied)
• Decking, pergolas and heavy-duty carpentry
• DIY projects requiring long screws for deep anchoring

Key specifications

• Total length: 260 mm
• Thread diameter: 6 mm
• Threaded length: 70 mm
• Material: metal (suitable for wood applications)
• Pack quantity: 50 pieces

How to use

Pre-drill a pilot hole appropriate to the screw diameter and the type of wood to reduce splitting and ensure accurate alignment. Insert the screw and drive it with a compatible bit using a drill or impact driver at moderate speed, applying steady pressure. For structural or load-bearing connections, ensure screws are driven perpendicular to the surface and fully engaged until the head is flush or slightly countersunk according to the application. If used outdoors or in humid environments, apply suitable corrosion protection or use screws with appropriate surface treatment.

Recommendations

Choose a pilot hole diameter and depth based on timber density; softwood typically requires a slightly smaller pilot hole than hardwood. For safety and long-term durability in exterior applications, verify corrosion resistance and consider additional protective measures such as coating or using compatible fasteners specified for outdoor use.
