Key specifications

How to use

Install the battery in a dry, well-ventilated location away from direct heat sources and corrosive substances. Use appropriate cable cross-sections and secure terminal connections to minimize voltage drop. Charge the battery with a compatible charger or charge regulator configured for gel-type batteries and the correct charging profile for 12 V lead-acid gel chemistry. Avoid deep discharges below recommended depth of discharge limits to extend cycle life, and restore charge as soon as practical after heavy use.

Recommendations

For best long-term performance, operate the battery within recommended temperature ranges, use a dedicated gel battery charging algorithm (constant voltage with appropriate float voltage), and schedule regular voltage checks. In solar or off-grid systems, pair the battery with a solar charge controller that supports gel battery settings to optimize cycle life and capacity retention.
