Vertiv Geist SwitchAir SA1-01002L Παθητικό σύστημα ροής αέρα rack, πίσω είσοδος αέρα, 1U, Μαύρο

In a dense data center, a network switch with side-to-rear airflow exhausts hot air directly into the cold aisle, undermining cooling efficiency. The Vertiv Geist SwitchAir SA1-01002L tackles this problem by capturing exhaust air and redirecting it to the hot aisle, maintaining proper air separation without consuming any power.

Why choose it

This system prevents hot exhaust air from recirculating into the cold aisle, ensuring that cool air reaches equipment intakes. By containing exhaust air, it improves cooling efficiency, reduces hot spots, and can lower data center energy costs. The tool-less installation saves time, and the durable steel construction ensures long-term reliability. It also helps extend the lifespan of networking equipment by maintaining proper operating temperatures.

Ideal use cases

• Data centers with hot aisle/cold aisle containment
• Server rooms with side-to-rear airflow switches
• Network closets where cooling is a challenge
• Facilities aiming to reduce cooling energy consumption
