The Rittal 8620.034 rack base is a 100 mm high steel trim panel intended to finish and stabilise the base/plinth of server and equipment enclosures. Finished in black, the 800 mm deep panel is supplied as a pack of two pieces and is designed to be combined with compatible 200 mm high bases or fitted between bayed enclosures to support and stabilise corner connections.

Advantages

Constructed from durable black steel for long-term stability and load support, the trim panels provide a tidy finish to the base/plinth area and help stabilise adjacent bayed enclosures. Their 100 mm height allows integration into 200 mm base assemblies and flexible use in different rack layouts.

How to use

Place the trim panel at the side of the base/plinth unit to finish the visible edge and align it with adjacent base pieces. When used between two bayed enclosures, position the panel to bridge and support the corner pieces, then secure according to the enclosure manufacturer’s instructions. For integration into higher base assemblies, combine the 100 mm panel with compatible 100 mm or 200 mm sections to reach the required overall height.

Recommendations

Follow Rittal mounting guidelines and use appropriate fasteners for your enclosure series. Verify compatibility with existing base/plinth components before installation and handle panels with care to avoid surface damage to the black finish.
