The ROADINGER amplifier rack PR-1 with 3 U is a compact 19" case designed to house power amplifiers and similar rack-mountable accessories. It features a maximum installation depth of 420 mm plus 90 mm per removable cover and a maximum load capacity of 50 kg. The briefcase-style housing combines black-laminated plywood sides with an aluminium profile frame and steel ball corners for structural stability, and includes two removable lids for easy access.

Advantages

The unit uses 7 mm multi-layer glued plywood sides with black lamination for durable paneling while the aluminium profile frame with rounded corners and three-legged steel ball corners increases impact resistance and stability. It is fitted with four snap locks, two chrome-plated folding handles and wooden sliding rails on the floor to simplify equipment insertion and transport. Both lids are removable to provide flexible access and installation space.

How to use

Place the rack on a stable surface and open the removable lids by releasing the snap locks. Slide rack-mount equipment into the 3 U space, align with the front rails and secure devices using appropriate rack screws. The two wooden sliding rails on the floor help position heavier units during installation. After mounting, close the lids and fasten the snap locks for transport. For heavy or bulky equipment, use two people to lift and carry the case by the chrome-plated folding handles.

Recommendations

Avoid exceeding the specified maximum load of 50 kg and ensure the installed equipment does not surpass the maximum installation depth (420 mm plus covers). Secure all devices with suitable rack screws and handle the case by the handles; when loading heavy amplifiers, use two people to prevent damage to the plywood sides and internal rails.
