USB hub SANDBERG 136-66 — 7x θύρες USB 3.0, εξωτερικό με τροφοδοσία

SANDBERG 136-66 is a 7-port USB 3.0 hub that expands a single USB connection into seven high-speed USB 3.0 ports. Designed for connecting multiple peripherals such as external drives, keyboards, mice and printers, the hub supports USB 3.0 transfer rates and comes with an external power adapter to supply reliable power to multiple devices simultaneously. The compact housing and straightforward USB connection make it suitable for desktop and laptop setups where additional USB ports are required.

Advantages

The hub provides seven USB 3.0 ports that enable higher data throughput compared with USB 2.0, allowing faster file transfers for external storage and improved responsiveness for USB peripherals. External power support ensures stable operation when several devices draw current at the same time. The device is bus-compatible with USB 2.0/1.1, requires no additional drivers for most operating systems, and features a compact footprint for easy placement on a desk or in a workstation.

Suitable for

• Connecting multiple external hard drives or SSDs for data transfer and backup
• Expanding ports for keyboards, mice, webcams and headsets
• Connecting printers, scanners and office peripherals
• Charging and powering low- to medium-draw USB devices when used with the external adapter
• Workstation setups with limited built-in USB ports on desktops or laptops

Key specifications

• Number of ports: 7 USB Type-A ports
• Interface standard: USB 3.0 (backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1)
• Data transfer: SuperSpeed USB data rates up to 5 Gbps (per USB 3.0 specification)
• Power: external power adapter included to support multiple devices simultaneously
• Compatibility: plug-and-play operation with common operating systems (no additional drivers typically required)
• Form factor: compact desktop hub suitable for placement on work surfaces

How to use

Connect the hub to a computer using the included USB cable, then plug the external power adapter into a mains outlet and the hub to ensure sufficient power for connected devices. After connection, attach your USB peripherals to the available ports. Most operating systems will recognise connected devices automatically; for external drives, ensure proper ejection before disconnecting. Place the hub on a stable surface and route cables to avoid strain on connectors.

Recommendations

For sustained data transfers or when using multiple power-hungry devices, keep the external power adapter connected. Avoid connecting high-current devices that exceed the hub’s power capability without checking individual device requirements. Ensure adequate ventilation around the hub and use quality cables for stable connections.
