USB 3.0 βύσμα αρσενικό A - βύσμα αρσενικό USB B 5,00 m, ACT, SB0004

The ACT USB 3.0 A male to USB B male cable, 5.00 m, provides a single-cable solution for linking USB-A host ports to USB-B devices. Designed for USB 3.2 Gen 1 (3.1 Gen 1) operation, it supports high-speed data transfer up to 5 Gbit/s and a durable black jacket suitable for office and studio environments. With male USB A and male USB B connectors, this cable connects common printers, scanners, docking stations and many external storage devices to desktop or laptop hosts over a longer run.

Advantages

The cable supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 signaling for up to 5 Gbit/s throughput, enabling fast file transfers and responsive device communication. Its 5 meter length removes the need to place host and peripheral close together, improving workspace layout flexibility. Durable connector housings and a flexible outer jacket ensure reliable repeated use and straightforward routing in typical office and home environments. The black finish minimizes visible wear and integrates with most existing equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting printers and multifunction devices to computers across medium-distance workspaces
• Linking external hard drives or RAID enclosures to USB-A ports for data transfer and backup
• Connecting USB-B equipped audio interfaces or MIDI controllers to recording setups
• Temporary connections in meeting rooms, classrooms and exhibition stands where a longer cable run is required

Key specifications

• Connector type: USB A (male) to USB B (male)
• USB standard: USB 3.2 Gen 1 (3.1 Gen 1) compatible
• Maximum data rate: up to 5 Gbit/s
• Cable length: 5.00 m
• Colour: black

How to use

Connect the USB A male end to an available USB-A host port on a computer or hub, and plug the USB B male end into the USB-B port of the peripheral device. Ensure both devices are powered if required by the peripheral. After connection, the host operating system should detect the device automatically and install any necessary drivers. For best performance, use host ports that support USB 3.x speeds; if connected to a USB 2.0 port, the transfer rate will be limited accordingly.

Recommendations

Route the cable away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference (large transformers, unshielded power cables) to maintain stable high-speed transfers. Avoid tight bends near the connector ends and secure the cable with gentle ties if needed. For fixed installations where mechanical strain is possible, leave some slack to prevent connector stress.
