Unmanaged Switch Dahua PFS3211-8GT-120-V2 Gigabit Ethernet PoE 9 Θύρες

DH-PFS3211-8GT-120 is an unmanaged hardened PoE switch with 8 × 10/100/1000 Mbps PoE ports, one 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet uplink port and 2 × 1000 Mbps SFP uplink slots. The switch supports two transmission modes (Extend Mode On/Off), a maximum total PoE budget of 120 W and a red high-power port compatible with IEEE 802.3bt and Hi-PoE standards. It is designed for reliable wired connectivity in environments such as homes, offices, server rooms and small shopping areas.

Advantages

The device provides intelligent PoE power control and real-time monitoring to prioritise power to critical ports and to reduce faults caused by power fluctuations. The red port delivers up to 90 W per port and supports IEEE802.3af/at/bt and Hi-PoE for powering high-consumption devices. Built-in PoE Watchdog can automatically detect and restart failed ports to recover IPC connections without manual intervention. Long-distance PoE mode extends single-port transmission up to 250 m (at reduced bandwidth). The switch supports 8-pin simultaneous power feeding to improve compatibility with cameras and reduce cable loss.

Suitable for

• Small office networks
• Home network installations
• Server room or rack edge connectivity for light deployments
• Small retail and mall surveillance systems
• IP cameras and other PoE-powered devices requiring higher power (up to 90 W on the red port)

Key specifications

• Ports: 8 × 10/100/1000 Mbps PoE ports, 1 × 10/100/1000 Mbps uplink Ethernet, 2 × 1000 Mbps SFP uplinks
• PoE standards: IEEE 802.3af / 802.3at / 802.3bt and Hi-PoE (red port)
• Maximum total PoE power: 120 W
• Maximum per-port PoE (red port): 90 W
• Transmission modes: Extend Mode On / Off (long-distance PoE up to 250 m at 10 Mbps)
• PoE Watchdog: automatic port detect and restart for recovery
• 8-pin simultaneous power supply supported
• Switch type: Unmanaged hardened switch
• Connector types: RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet, SFP

How to use

Install the switch on a desktop or wall mount and connect power. Attach network devices or PoE cameras to the PoE RJ-45 ports and use the uplink Ethernet or SFP ports to connect to your core network. Configure Extend Mode or PoE Watchdog via the available WEB interface or hardware dial where applicable to enable long-distance transmission or automatic port recovery. Ensure the total PoE consumption of connected devices does not exceed the 120 W budget, and place high-power devices on the red port when higher per-port power is required.

Recommendations

Use shielded Cat5e/Cat6 cables for PoE over long distance where possible, monitor total PoE load to avoid exceeding the 120 W budget, and reserve the red high-power port for devices that require up to 90 W. Enable PoE Watchdog to reduce manual maintenance and enable Extend Mode only when lower bandwidth (10 Mbps) is acceptable for longer runs.
