UNI-T UT373 non-contact tachometer
The UNI-T UT373 non-contact tachometer is a reliable tool for measuring the speed of motors and other machines, providing safe and precise results without the need for contact with a rotating object. The device allows measurement in RPM units, offering automatic range selection and displaying values up to 99999, with an overload ("OL") indication function. The UT373 features Max/Min functions, result retention (Data Hold), active measurement indication (Signal Trigger/Laser-On), as well as a low charge indicator and automatic shutdown. The backlit LCD display ensures readability in all operating conditions, and CE and UKCA certifications confirm high quality and safety standards.
Functionality that makes everyday work easier
The UT373 is designed for quick and easy operation - automatic range selection allows for instant accurate results, and Max/Min functions help monitor extreme values during tests. The data retention function allows you to conveniently save the result on the display, which is extremely useful when analyzing measurements. The tachometer indicates laser activity and low charge status, ensuring uninterrupted operation without unnecessary interruptions.
Robust design and convenience of use
The UNI-T UT373 features a lightweight, ergonomic design and the ruggedness necessary for industrial and workshop environments. Thanks to the backlit LCD display, reading the results is possible even in dimly lit areas. Automatic shutdown of the device after a period of inactivity helps save energy and prolongs battery life. The UT373 is the ideal solution for professionals who value safety, precision and comfort every day.

How to use
Position the tachometer so the sensor has a clear line of sight to the rotating target. If required, apply a reflective marker to the rotating part according to the instrument instructions to ensure reliable optical detection. Aim the device at the marked area from a safe distance within the sensor range and trigger a measurement. Read the RPM value from the digital display and, if needed, repeat the measurement to verify stability.
Recommendations
Ensure a stable mounting or steady hand during measurement and observe safety distances from moving parts. Use appropriate reflective markers on dark or non-reflective surfaces. Avoid exposing the sensor to dust or liquid contamination and store the tachometer in a dry place when not in use.
