Ubiquiti UniFi Enterprise Firewall Core EF-CORE Enterprise-Class 100G Cloud Gateway, 79G IDS/IPS

The Ubiquiti UniFi Enterprise Firewall Core EF-CORE stands apart from typical security appliances by combining a 100 Gbps firewall engine with a 79 Gbps IDS/IPS inspection rate in a single 1U rackmount unit. Built for large-scale enterprise networks, it delivers carrier-grade threat management without the complexity or licensing fees of traditional solutions. The EF-CORE is managed entirely through the UniFi Network Controller, offering a unified interface for routing, security, and monitoring across distributed sites.

Highlights

• 100 Gbps stateful firewall throughput for demanding core networks
• 79 Gbps IDS/IPS performance with real-time threat intelligence
• High-speed SFP+/SFP28/QSFP28 ports supporting 10GbE, 25GbE, and 100GbE
• Advanced routing with OSPF, BGP, and static routes
• Integrated VPN server/client, GeoIP filtering, and VLAN segmentation
• Redundant power supply support for high availability
• Cloud-managed via UniFi Network Controller with zero-touch provisioning

In daily use

Deploy the EF-CORE at the heart of your network to enforce security policies across thousands of users. Its multi-core processor and high-capacity memory ensure smooth operation even under full inspection load. Link aggregation (LACP) and 802.1Q VLANs allow flexible network design, while active cooling keeps the unit reliable in data center environments. Administrators gain deep visibility into traffic patterns and threats through the intuitive UniFi dashboard, reducing mean time to resolution.
