Tuya HS085193 Αισθητήρας ανίχνευσης ανθρώπινης παρουσίας, Wi-Fi, mmWave Radar

Imagine walking into a meeting room and the lights and HVAC adjust instantly—not because you waved your hand, but because the room knows you're there, even if you're sitting perfectly still. The Tuya HS085193 Human Presence Detection Sensor brings that level of awareness to offices, hotels, and smart homes. Using advanced 24GHz mmWave radar, it detects both moving and static human presence with remarkable precision, eliminating the false triggers and missed detections common with traditional PIR sensors. Whether it's automating lighting in a conference room, triggering security alerts at home, or monitoring the well-being of an elderly family member, this sensor delivers reliable, privacy-preserving presence detection without any camera or audio recording.

Why choose it

Unlike conventional PIR motion sensors that only react to movement, the HS085193 uses mmWave radar to sense the presence of a person even when they are completely still—breathing, reading, or sleeping. This makes it ideal for scenarios where you need to know if a room is occupied, not just if someone is moving. The built-in illuminance sensor enables smart lighting automation based on ambient light levels, and adjustable sensitivity lets you fine-tune detection to avoid false alarms. Seamless scene linkage with other Tuya-compatible devices means you can create powerful automations: lights on when presence detected, HVAC off when room empty, or notifications sent to your phone. Privacy is guaranteed because no camera or microphone is used.

Ideal use cases

• Smart office lighting and presence-based climate control in meeting rooms and open spaces
• Automated home security and notification triggers when unexpected presence is detected
• Elderly-care monitoring – detect if a person is stationary for an extended period and send alerts
• Energy-saving automation in conference rooms, hotels, and classrooms
• Smart home scenes: turn on lights, adjust thermostat, or activate appliances based on occupancy

Good to know

The Tuya HS085193 connects directly to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and works with the free Tuya Smart or Smart Life app. No separate hub is required. It supports voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant when linked through the Tuya app. The sensor is powered by a standard USB adapter (5V/1A), and the compact design allows discreet mounting on walls, ceilings, or simply placed on a desk. With a detection range up to 9 meters and a wide 120° angle, one sensor can cover a large room. The radar technology is safe, non-intrusive, and works through thin materials like glass or wood, making it versatile for various installations.
